Well, this episode was a bit dark.

Josh Kala • 11 months ago

and that is just a 2nd enemy not yet like higher enemy yet

Paladin Mama • 11 months ago

This is like one of Golbez's 4 elemental fiends. Then Golbez (cue that bad ass pipe organ music). He gets beaten then the real real last boss.

Josh Kala • 11 months ago

yeah no kidding

Diamondkat • 11 months ago

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that!

Flashback and bonding time with Cap.Shalala
Tsubasa's parents pay visit and Mashiro buys a ton of blue crystals.....

Press F for Shalala huge chance she's gonna get brainwashed into the third(?) general why? she left her pendant to Sora and that's the key for the usual plot for breaking mind control.
Battamonda means business and he's such sore loser entering the royals quarters and cursing them(but seriously the security in the castle is non existent like at least place a few guards inside)
you know what's really epic here? Sky's I'm gonna destroy you face that wasn't shown that scared Battamonda running away thank goodness Elle-chan is innocent pretty sure Sky was filled with murderous intent on that scene.

and now were halfway through the Cures because Cure Lovely is the 10th anniversary of the franchise, and next week is momotaro storytime with a little reference to Akaoni of smile precure

Ian Nava H • 11 months ago

I wish they showed Sora's killing intent stare

wwlaos • 11 months ago

That smile just before the OP was both adorable and... kinda creepy. >_>

Ian Nava H • 11 months ago

I can see Sora's parents eventually appearing in present day, and giving her the scolding of her life for how she hasn't even tried to talk to them in so much time.

Ian Nava H • 11 months ago

Please let Captain Shalala come back corrupted as a villain in a future episode

Divine demon GOD Aris • 11 months ago

I feel she was a villian the whole time

UglySatchFanatic • 11 months ago

Pretty sure that Shalala would be our resident brainwashed girl and then be the last Precure to join. That's a Precure staple. We would definitely see her again as a brainwashed Undergu Agent.

Jona Rodríguez • 11 months ago

What I really think is that Shalala is the real villain and orchestrated this whole scene so she can no longer be attached to her false captain persona. Is pretty smart and also very twisted, perfect for a final boss.

xolitaire • 11 months ago

But wouldn't she be a bit old to awaken as a precure? I mean the girls losing their powers when they get older has always been kind of a trope in the series...

Paladin Mama • 11 months ago

Ageha is an adult and she's going to be Cure Butterfly.

霜降 Quon🍓 • 11 months ago

i havent watched too many precure seasons but i always wondered about this. I watched hugtto and it seems anyone can be a precure if they truly believe in themselves so I assume it's just harder for adults since they are so busy with jobs and real life they dont have time to dream anymore?

Julius Macansantos • 11 months ago

yes pretty sure she's gonna be brainwashed hey at least it's not like Gentlu/Finale who was off-screen lore dump in brainwashing. Already a plus since she left her pendant to Sora

JoshHCA • 11 months ago

If they didn't reveal Elle becoming one herself, then the captain can be. But this time, in my opinion, that won't be the case, except she will be brainwashed that Sora have to fight her.

Paladin Mama • 11 months ago

There can be more small role cures past Ellee. Like how sailor mini moon has her starlights and asteroid quartet much later on.

Ian Nava H • 11 months ago

It felt unnatural seeing the Updraft Shining being spoken by other characters and seeing it outside of the finisher stock footage transformation

Divine demon GOD Aris • 11 months ago

lol it really was unnatural

lady vivi ★ • 11 months ago

DANG.

Paradise SLU • 11 months ago

Wonderful episode, the fight scene was awesome.

Cillian • 11 months ago

That disc from the updraft shining attack can actually be touched and maybe destroyed, that's funny

Christian Appel • 3 months ago

Mashiro is Sora´s waifu/girlfriend/lover.

Jona Rodríguez • 11 months ago

I think that Shalala is the real villain and orchestrated this whole scene so she can no longer be attached to her false captain persona. Is pretty smart and also very twisted, perfect for a final boss. I don't see it as a brainwashed precure or something. Also it would be one of the first time we see a villain in their "previous" life and the many people they had around them

Divine demon GOD Aris • 11 months ago

seems strange how they just dipped out with elle after the king and queen got cursed

xolitaire • 11 months ago

If Shalala shows back up as villain I'm gonna riot - on the other hand, if she does, she's most likely going to become the fifth ranger. Which would be awesome. I'm just a bit worried about her age though? In almost every season we got a glimpse at the girl's futures as adults, and every time they end up not having their powers anymore. So are we throwing that out of the window this season?

Ian Nava H • 11 months ago

the "time skip epilogue showing them as depowered adults" is a precure staple ending?

Diamondkat • 11 months ago

Idk why but this episode was making me feel sad, especially cause the captain possibly didn’t make it. But the animation was incredible when she came to help. At least tsubasa reunited with his parents! When the new guy like one shot tsubasa, I thought first villain that means business

Melfina Rose • 11 months ago

I was expecting a trio attack this week but still nothing.

Captain is going to be an endboss henchmen or trump card used to throw Sora off her game; then again this series has diverted expectations from the normal Precure process multiple times already.

PaoPo • 11 months ago

Man. It suddenly getting dark. My heart, oh no. I wasn't prepared to see something dark here at all.

JoshHCA • 11 months ago

Well, looks like Sora will be fighting her admiration of a captain. At least from what I see here.
